Found on some of the most beautiful land in southwest Houston, the Meyerland neighborhood’s 2,300-plus homes are conveniently situated near the 610 Loop and convenient to the Houston Medical Center. Just south of Meyerland is the community of Willow Meadows. Residences in the two neighboring communities have easy access to the busiest parts of Greater Houston.
Residents of Meyerland and Willow Meadows are both zoned to the Houston Independent School District, with top-rated public and private school choices.
Conveniently located on Beechnut and the 610 Loop, Meyerland Plaza offers a chic, 70-store designed with lush landscaping and palm trees. You might even see police on horseback patroling the center! The shopping center gives consumers prominent clothing retailers, a great selection of dining options and a fitness gym.
Willow Meadows Retail
On the outer cusp of Meyerland bridging into Willow Meadows is a high-traffic string of shopping centers located at the intersection of S Post Oak Rd and W Bellfort Ave. Supermarkets include Walmart, Randalls, and Kroger, along with Texan favorites Whataburger and Taco Cabana for quick dining.
Godwin Community Center
The community center at Herbert Godwin Park spans an entire block. Ample playground equipment, a soccer field, and covered basketball court make this a fantastic recreational spot for families.
Not all parks build a playground for children as young as the ages of 2 through 5, yet Willow Park certainly did. Paired with newly renovated tennis and volleyball courts, this park is a go-to spot for residents of Willow Meadows and Willowbend.
